Like many quality EV chargers, the Ohme Home Pro requires external overcurrent protection as part of the installation. We include the required protection devices in every installation we carry out in accordance with BS 7671 regulations.

OZEV Grant For Ohme Home Pro Installations
The Ohme Home Pro is eligible for the OZEV EV Chargepoint Grant for qualifying applicants, helping reduce the cost of both the charger and installation. The current residential scheme is available to:
- Renters with an eligible EV or plug-in hybrid vehicle and dedicated off-street parking
- Flat owners and leaseholders with suitable private parking
- Residential landlords installing EV charge points at qualifying rental properties
Workplace Charging Scheme
The Ohme Home Pro is also approved for the OZEV Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS). Eligible businesses can claim up to £500 per socket across a maximum of 40 sockets, with funding available up to £20,000 per applicant until 31 March 2027.
