Contracted PPM

Electrical

We can regularly test and service all your electrical installations, take care of your portable appliance testing (PAT) and carry out your five-year fixed wire testing, complete with EICR. Our electricians will complete the necessary checks at each visit, carry out any urgent repairs and discuss any further remedial works you might need.

Lighting

Emergency lighting is a legal requirement and must be tested regularly to comply with regulations. Our team can take care of your monthly function tests, as well as your annual full discharge test. We’ll also service and maintain your standard internal and external lighting equipment, replacing any broken or damaged bulbs or fittings.

Fire

Fire alarm systems in commercial premises should be tested weekly, but they must also undergo an annual periodic inspection. This includes a manual switch test of every manual call point and a functional test of every automatic fire detection device, including smoke detectors, smoke alarms, heat detectors, optical beam detectors, aspirating systems and other similar devices.

Security

Our team will take care of testing and servicing any CCTV, intruder alarm and access control systems to ensure that they work as they should, keeping your property properly protected. We can also make recommendations for any system upgrades that would be a better fit for your business.

  Jamie and the team at WYE have completed both a Solar panel and battery install for us (Giv-energy system) and previously an EV charge-point (Myenergi Zappi charger). Both these projects were handled very professionally from the quotes onwards and all the work completed to a very high standard. The team have responded promptly to any queries I had and any issues with the initial set up of the solar & battery system were dealt with quickly to ensure everything was working correctly. If you are looking for an installer for a Solar system or EV charge-point I would strongly recommend them.   Simply excellent. In my experience there’s two types of certified electricians: those who love their job, take pride in what they do and do the right thing, every time; and those who have the certificate and are going to do the bare minimum. Jamie and the team at wye are definitely old school (on a good way) pride-in-their-work electricians. From the neatness of the wiring - even inside consumer units which no one will ever see - to the care and thought taken when running cables to minimise damage, they are simply first class. We contacted them on a recommendation for a solar install, and they handled everything, working with our roofers and being flexible around their progress too. Whilst they were here they also did electrical work on our new dormers which was impeccable. I’m not often impressed by electricians - my father in law was an electrical superintendent for a university who had very high standards - but the team has surpassed them. Whether it’s solar (and the seemingly endless admin that goes with that) or new install or remedial work I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them. 10/10.   These guys are amazing - Jamie was in constant contact whilst having difficulties getting technical support from GivEnergy, they had to come back a few times for troubleshooting but the issue was with the supplier and Jamie stayed on it until everything was completely sorted.
