Fire alarm installation
The West Yorkshire Electrical team can supply and install a range of fire alarm systems, ensuring they comply with all current wiring standards and fire safety regulations. Testing and compliance
As well as carrying out weekly fire alarm tests, your fire alarm system must undergo a full annual inspection. This involves testing every call point, smoke detector, heat sensor and any other detection devices. This can be carried out in one visit or over multiple visits within 12 months, depending on the complexity of your system. Our team can carry out full testing, inspecting and servicing of your systems and provide all relevant reports for your H&S records.
Emergency lighting
By law, all emergency exit routes in commercial buildings must have adequate lighting, with emergency lighting provision in case normal lighting fails. Emergency lighting must be tested monthly, with a full discharge test taking place each year. This involves running emergency lighting for three hours. West Yorkshire Electrical can plan, install and service your emergency lighting as well as carrying out emergency lighting testing and inspections.
