Jamie and the team at WYE have completed both a Solar panel and battery install for us (Giv-energy system) and previously an EV charge-point (Myenergi Zappi charger). Both these projects were handled very professionally from the quotes onwards and all the work completed to a very high standard. The team have responded promptly to any queries I had and any issues with the initial set up of the solar & battery system were dealt with quickly to ensure everything was working correctly. If you are looking for an installer for a Solar system or EV charge-point I would strongly recommend them. I can also recommend them for smaller electrical jobs too as they changed a number of internal light fittings for us very efficiently.

I particularly like app features, that show me how much coin Pozitive Energy are no longer able to extract from the company purse. Simply excellent. In my experience there’s two types of certified electricians: those who love their job, take pride in what they do and do the right thing, every time; and those who have the certificate and are going to do the bare minimum. Jamie and the team at wye are definitely old school (on a good way) pride-in-their-work electricians. From the neatness of the wiring - even inside consumer units which no one will ever see - to the care and thought taken when running cables to minimise damage, they are simply first class. We contacted them on a recommendation for a solar install, and they handled everything, working with our roofers and being flexible around their progress too. Whilst they were here they also did electrical work on our new dormers which was impeccable. I’m not often impressed by electricians - my father in law was an electrical superintendent for a university who had very high standards - but the team has surpassed them. Whether it’s solar (and the seemingly endless admin that goes with that) or new install or remedial work I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them. 10/10. I like the way they treat and develop their employees too: all in all a cracking company.

These guys are amazing - Jamie was in constant contact whilst having difficulties getting technical support from GivEnergy, they had to come back a few times for troubleshooting but the issue was with the supplier and Jamie stayed on it until everything was completely sorted. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be using them again! The guys were all very knowledgeable and professional, excellent service from start to finish.
